When Hallet and I started talking about her maternity session I instantly had the thought of creating something in black and white that had an almost angelic feel to it. To accomplish this specific look we started with a plain white backdrop and added the bright lighting that left just enough shadow to give dimension. We then wrapped her up in a long shear fabric to create modesty while at the same time allowing some of her form to show through. We tried a few different variants of this look, but I fell in love with this shot the moment I saw it.
