One of the premiere producers of tequila is Patrón, and I had the privilege of working with them on a joint project with one of the best restaurants and bars in El Paso, Ambar located in The Plaza Hotel.
Food and drink photography is one of the most challenging and fun subjects to work with — especially on location where you don’t have full control over the environmental lighting. For this session we wanted the images to convey the mood and elegance of the bar in the evening and so I incorporated the natural light of the bar and a couple of flashes equiped with color gels.
