As a wedding photographer I always find weddings to be an amazing event to capture. There is such a rich history and tradition in wedding ceremonies and when you add the military traditions, it becomes an even more rich environment to capture amazing photography. This day was no exception. I spent the entire day capturing the whole process. Starting with photographing the guys as they toasted the groom out of traditional horns and carefully prepared their uniforms for the day.

From there I traveled to the winery where the ceremony would take place, and I captured the bride and bridesmaids finishing up all the million little details from their hair and makeup, to donning their beautiful gowns, to gifting the flower girl with a beautiful necklace. After this was completed I had the honor of capturing the father of the bride’s first look of his daughter and it was beautiful to see the tears well up in his eyes as he caught his first glimpse.

There were thousands of little stories throughout the day and it would take far to long to give all the details, but it is true to say that as in a wedding, love is in the details, and the wedding is just the first stage in a long journey of building memories. It was an honor to capture this day for this couple.
