You are a work of art, and like all great masterpieces you have a story that deserves being shared with the world.
One of my greatest memories as a child was looking through the old photo albums at my grandparents home. As we flipped through the pages we would laugh or cry as we told the stories. Reliving old memories and creating new ones. This process is so important to the development of a family. It provides the medium for passing down our heritage to future generations. Therefore, as I photographer I believe that it is so important to make our work tangible — whether it be wall art of an album.
Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.
You are beautiful
You are beautiful and by the time we are done my goal is to help you believe this with all your heart. Whether we are doing a corporate headshot, portrait session, or a maternity session my desire is you will begin to see the beauty that everyone else sees.
To accomplish this it is super important there is a good level of trust between myself and my client, because they don’t see what I see. So I might ask them to move a certain way, or hold their head at an angle which may seem uncomfortable, but when a client trusts me as their photographer the results are always better.
Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful.
Let the magic begin
Trust the process! The magic doesn’t just begin when you arrive at the studio or on location, but when you first start sharing the story you want to tell.
This story will influence entire session: from the location, wardrobe, time of day, lighting, hair and makeup, along with so many other things.
