What is an implied nude boudoir session? Basically it is a style of taking pictures that make it clear that the subject is nude, but without really showing anything. With this type of boudoir session it is important to discuss your boundaries and final desired outcome to ensure that I capture what you are looking for, while at the same time making you feel safe and comfortable in the process.

It is also important to ask, “Why am I doing this?” Is it a gift for a special someone or maybe it is a gift to myself? The answer to this can also change how the session is approached. Whatever the answer, a major goal of the process is to realize this can be a very empowering experience as you get in front of the camera and learn to love yourself for who you are.

Keep in mind, boudoir photography doesn’t mean you have to wear lingerie or be mostly nude. Wear what you are comfortable in — your favorite pj’s or your husbands dress shirt. Just wear something that allows you to be yourself, makes you feel good, and can be used in a way that is a little sensual.
